All ponds in blocks A and B have completed the WATER FORMATION process (efforts to collect and store water) and are ready to be filled according to the agreed schedule, except for ponds A1, A4, A5, and B7.
PCR water tests have been carried out in the B block ponds with virus-free results. The bio-assay procedure for seeds from the Hisenor hatchery has been completed, and the seeds remain active even without oxygen for 3×24 hours.
The installation of HDPE plastic for ponds A4 and A5 was completed on Sunday night. The reinstallation of HDPE plastic for ponds A1 and B7 will be completed in the next 2-3 days, followed by the installation of pipes and diffusers for the nano bubble system. Leak testing and water filling will be carried out early next week.
The warehouse construction continues and will be completed before the BAP audit takes place on July 22-23.
The expansion of the anoxic pond (a body of water with very low or no dissolved oxygen, hence referred to as “anoxic”) is underway to ensure adequate storage of wastewater for treatment before being discharged into the sea.
